“Rapunzel” is a kid short story. There was a man and woman who wished to have a child. When the woman was pregnant she looked behind her window and wanted some rampion (rapunzel). She knew that she couldn’t get any of it because it belonged to the enchantress. But her husband brought her the rampion and her desire to eat the rampion increased every day until the enchantress knew that the man was stealing her rampion. After explaining to the enchantress the man was allowed to take the rampion as much as he wanted, but the enchantress needed his child as a replacement.

The child was named Rapunzel by the enchantress. Rapunzel was shut into a tower, in the middle of the forest, with no stairs nor door. Rapunzel is a beautiful child with magnificent long hair. Her hair can help the enchantress to climb the tower.

When Rapunzel sang a song, a King’s Son heard her voice. One day, the King’s Son comes to see Rapunzel by climbing her hair as same as the enchantress does. Rapunzel and the King’s Son fell in love, but when the enchantress knew, she cut Rapunzel’s hair and took Rapunzel into the desert. The enchantress also changes the King’s Son into a bird. Finally, rapunzel with the twins to whom she had given birth can meet with the king’s son and they live for a long time afterward, happy, and contented.

The cons of the story, the father should disobey the enchantress to give his child to the enchantress. He should prioritize his child first, not just fulfilling his wife’s desire. The pros of this story are that Rapunzel isn’t afraid to do what she wants to do, she wants to marry the King’s Son and she tries to do it with all of the risk.
