CONTENT WRITING FOR CREATIVE INDUSTRY: POSTER

Hello everyone!!

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” This is a quote by Nelson Mandela. 

This quote has amazing meaning related to education. So, we are from the first group of this class, Content Writing for Creative Industry, are going to tell you a little bit our perspective on this quote. I am Olga Kusuma Sari and my friend, Naning Safrika, will try to motivate you with this quote in order to keep your enthusiastic to pursuing our education. 

So, I believe that you guys know that education is so important, right? But, why? Why is it important?

It says that education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. But actually, it’s more than that. Education is also one of the most powerful weapons to change people’s attitudes. 

Education is a way to change life. It can build the character of a person, and bring out and nurture hidden talents, skills, or abilities of an individual. Education teaches us values, makes us more independent, and can help us know what we deserve. So, that’s why education is so important for us. Education is a key to changing our world, to become a better world. 

For the design of the poster, the first thing that you will notice is the human’s face. The face image that we used for the poster is Nelson Mandela’s face. Nelson Mandela was an activist and politician in South Africa, and also the first president of South Africa. 

We use a black background which represents Mandela who is black. This is also a part of support for black lives matter.

The white color symbolizes purity, we start learning in a pure state, and we don’t know anything back then. We start learning things from the smallest ones, from our moms, our families, our school, and our environment. So, by learning we are expected to achieve success in the future. 

The orange-yellowish that spreads a little bit in the background and some of the fonts represent enthusiasm, enthusiasm to keep learning and studying. 

In the background, there’s also the word EDUCATION, with some pictures inside each alphabet. The pictures show the educational process in the 19s, with all the limited facilities and all the struggles, but they were still enthusiastic to pursue their education.  

At the bottom of the poster, there are also pictures that show the educational revolution in the 21s. That’s how we all right now. We have so many advantages, especially the technology and better facilities. 

So, that’s all about our poster. The conclusion is, that education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world. Education can transform individuals and societies. With the process of empowering our own educational development, means that the whole world will grow with new ideas and new inventions in all new ways. 

With this poster, we want to persuade you to keep the enthusiasm to study and learn many things and keep the excitement to pursue education, because with education, we can change the world.
